(4) Improve the digestion and absorption rate of nitrogen, phosphorus and other nutrients in piglets.

(5) It can significantly improve the daily weight gain and feed conversion rate of pigs.

(6) Prevent and treat diarrhea in piglets.

(7) Increase the milk production of cows.

(8) Effectively suppress harmful ingredients such as mold in feed, ensure feed quality, and improve the shelf life of feed.

Since 2003, the Feed Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences has conducted research on the synthesis method of potassium diformate under laboratory conditions.

Formic acid and potassium carbonate were selected as raw materials, and potassium diformate was prepared using a one-step method. Based on the amount of potassium diformate contained in the filtrate, the mother liquor was recycled to achieve a reaction yield of over 90% and a product content of over 97%, Confirmed the technical parameters of potassium formate production process; Established an analytical method for detecting the content of potassium dicarboxylate; And conducted product production trials, product safety evaluations, and animal efficacy tests.

The results show that potassium dicarboxylate produced by the synthesis process has the characteristics of high content and good flowability; The results of oral acute toxicity test, inhalation acute toxicity test, and subacute toxicity test indicate that potassium diformate is a safe feed additive for animals.

The experimental results of the effect of potassium formate on the production performance of piglets showed that adding 1% potassium formate to the diet can increase daily weight gain by 8.09% and reduce the feed to meat ratio by 9%;

Adding 1.5% potassium formate to the diet can increase daily weight gain by 12.34% and reduce the feed to meat ratio by 8.16%.

Adding 1% to 1.5% potassium formate to piglet feed can improve piglet production performance and feed efficiency.

The results of another pig experiment showed that potassium diformate product had no antagonistic effect with antibiotics. Adding 1% potassium diformate product to the diet can partially replace antibiotics and promote growth. It has a certain synergistic effect with antibiotics in resisting diseases and has a certain effect in reducing diarrhea and mortality rates.
